Entrepreneurial Mindset and Digital Literacy in Shaping Students’ Start-Up Decisions

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial mindset and digital literacy on students' business start-up decisions, with creativity as an intervening variable. The research method used is quantitative research with a survey method of 163 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University who own businesses using proportional random sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) to test the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results show that entrepreneurial mindset and digital literacy have a positive and significant effect on the decision to start a business. In addition, entrepreneurial mindset and digital literacy also have a positive and significant effect on student creativity. Creativity is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on the decision to start a business and acts as an intervening variable that connects how entrepreneurial mindset and digital literacy influence the decision to start a business. These findings have important implications for entrepreneurship development efforts in higher education, especially through the formation of an entrepreneurial mindset, strengthening digital literacy, and facilitating creative spaces for students to be more prepared and brave to enter the business world.

The Development of Fanzzle (Fauna Puzzle) Learning Media to Enhance Early Childhood Focus

Focus is a fundamental cognitive ability that underlies successful learning in early childhood. This study aims to: (1) develop the FANZZLE learning media suitable for improving the focus of children aged 5–6 years; (2) examine the feasibility of the FANZZLE learning media based on expert validation; and (3) test the effectiveness of the media in enhancing children's focus. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects consisted of 29 children aged 5–6 years at TKIT Ar’rosyiid, divided into two groups: B1 (14 children) and B2 (15 children). Research instruments included a needs analysis interview guide, expert validation sheets, and observation sheets measuring children’s focus through four indicators: engagement duration, engagement intensity, resistance to distraction, and attentional flexibility. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis for needs assessment, feasibility percentage analysis for expert validation, and N-Gain analysis to measure effectiveness. The results showed that the FANZZLE media was categorized as “highly feasible” with an average validation score of 93.33%. The media also proved effective in improving children's focus, indicated by an increase in the mean score from 7.76 (pretest) to 12.62 (posttest) with an N-Gain score of 0.595 (moderate–high category). These findings indicate that FANZZLE learning media is both feasible and effective for improving the focus of children aged 5–6 years in early childhood education.

The Development of Tas Lisa Learning Media to Enhance Early Childhood Beginning Reading Skills

This study aims to develop TAS LISA learning media (Tas Literasi Anak Sederhana dan Atraktif) using a Research and Development (R&D) approach to improve the beginning reading skills of early childhood learners. The study was motivated by the low level of beginning reading ability among kindergarten children, particularly in recognizing letters, associating letters with sounds, and reading simple syllables and words. In addition, the literacy learning media used in classrooms are generally conventional and provide limited opportunities for concrete, interactive learning experiences that align with the developmental characteristics of young children. Therefore, an innovative learning medium developed through a systematic research and development process is needed. This study employed an R&D method consisting of several stages: analysis, data collection, product design, design validation by material and media experts, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, and final product revision. The research subjects were 20 children from Group B in a kindergarten. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and expert validation questionnaires. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive methods to determine product feasibility and improvement in children's beginning reading skills, and qualitative descriptive analysis to describe the development process and children's responses to the media. The results indicate that the TAS LISA learning media is feasible based on expert validation and effective in improving children's beginning reading abilities, including letter recognition, syllable reading, and simple word reading.

The Development of Domino Ceria Learning Media to Enhance Number Concept Understanding in Children Aged 4–6 Years

Most children still have difficulty connecting number symbols with objects, ordering numbers, and performing simple arithmetic operations. This condition is exacerbated by limited availability of engaging learning media appropriate to early childhood development. Therefore, learning media development is needed. Domino Ceria (DORIA) is a set of domino cards with an attractive visual design used to improve understanding of number concepts in children aged 4–6 years. The research method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were Group B children of Trisula Perwari Kindergarten aged 4–6 years. The research instruments included needs analysis, expert validation, and effectiveness testing. The results showed that the Domino Ceria media met feasibility standards with an average percentage of 97.00% based on expert validation and proved effective in improving children's understanding of number concepts.

The Development of A Magnetic Classroom Agreement Board (Pakeman) as Learning Media to Foster Discipline in Children Aged 5–6 Years

Discipline learning in early childhood education institutions still faces several challenges, including overly instructive approaches, less engaging learning media, and limited child participation in establishing classroom rules. This study aimed to develop a magnetic-based classroom agreement board as an effective learning medium to foster positive discipline among young children through a participatory approach. This research employed the ADDIE development model, adapted into five stages. The research subjects were 15 children in Group B (aged 5–6 years) at TK Negeri Manonjaya, Tasikmalaya. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and expert validation, and were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The resulting product was a magnetic classroom agreement board consisting of a magnetic board as the main surface for attaching agreement cards, 15 circular agreement cards with concrete illustrations, and supporting materials including a header poster, guidebook, tutorial video, and blank templates. Theoretical validation indicated a “Very Feasible” category (92%), while empirical validation reached 93.3%. The effectiveness test showed a 61.7% improvement in children’s disciplinary behavior with an improvement score of 0.50 (effective category), accompanied by positive developmental shifts across all participants. These findings indicate that participatory-based media can serve as an effective, practical, and sustainable tool for fostering positive discipline in early childhood education.

Site Analysis of Kolam Evu for Sustainable Tourism Development

Kolam Evu is a natural tourism area located on Kei Kecil Island with distinctive characteristics, including natural spring water, high water clarity, and strong local cultural values. This study aims to analyze site conditions as a basis for sustainable tourism development. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through field observation, literature review, and spatial analysis (Creswell & Creswell, 2018). The findings indicate that Kolam Evu has strong potential to be developed using a contextual architectural approach while maintaining environmental sustainability (UNWTO, 2021). Development strategies include zoning, circulation planning, and the use of local materials. This study contributes as a reference for sustainable tourism planning (UNWTO, 2021).

Development of A “Cheerful Engklek Carpet” Game as A Learning Medium to Enhance Spatial Intelligence in Early Childhood

Spatial intelligence is a fundamental ability that needs to be developed from an early age; however, its stimulation remains limited due to the lack of learning media that integrate visual, kinesthetic, and cognitive aspects. This study aims to: (1) develop the Cheerful Engklek Carpet game to stimulate spatial intelligence in early childhood, (2) examine the feasibility of the game, and (3) test its effectiveness in enhancing children’s spatial intelligence. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using a modified 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects consisted of 48 children aged 5–6 years at TK Plus Tunas Rimba, Purwakarta Regency, divided into an experimental group (24 children) and a control group (24 children). Data were collected through expert validation, observation, interviews, and spatial intelligence tests, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (independent and paired sample t-tests). The results indicate that the developed game is highly feasible (4.65), practical (4.41), and well-implemented (95.6%). It is also highly effective, with a 49.6% improvement in the experimental group compared to 7.0% in the control group (p < 0.001; Cohen’s d = 2.92). In conclusion, the Cheerful Engklek Carpet game is highly feasible and effective in holistically stimulating spatial intelligence in early childhood.

Development of Pop-Up Book Media for Children’ Honest Characters

This study aims to produce a learning media in the form of a three-dimensional pop-up book used to instill honest character values in early childhood and analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of its use in learning activities. This study uses a research and development method with a four-stage model that includes the stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. The research subjects were 30 children aged 5-6 years from three kindergartens in Pijoan Village, Muaro Jambi Regency. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, and implementation of initial and final tests. Product feasibility was analyzed through assessments by material experts, media experts, and language experts, while the effectiveness of the media was analyzed based on the improvement in the development of children's honest character. The results of the study showed that the developed three-dimensional pop-up book media obtained a very feasible category based on the results of expert validation. In addition, the results of the field trial showed an increase in the development of children's honest character, as seen from the increase in the average score from 43.5% in the initial test to 68% in the final test with a moderate level of improvement. Thus, three-dimensional pop-up books can be used as an interesting and effective learning media in instilling honesty values in early childhood.

Site Feasibility Analysis in the Design of a Coastal Tourism Area in Lembata Regency

Lembata Regency possesses coastal potential rich in natural beauty, cultural uniqueness, and marine resources that can be developed into coastal tourism areas. However, this potential has not been fully optimized due to the lack of well-directed site planning based on location feasibility. Therefore, conducting a site feasibility analysis is an essential step to ensure that the development of coastal tourism areas can be carried out effectively, safely, and sustainably. This study aims to formulate relevant site feasibility criteria as the foundation for designing coastal tourism areas in Lembata Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach by conducting field surveys, observations of existing conditions, and comparative studies of several similar coastal areas. The analysis assesses physical site characteristics, environmental quality, accessibility, infrastructure readiness, and natural attraction potential. The findings indicate that site feasibility is strongly influenced by stable soil conditions, well-preserved environmental quality, ease of access to the location, and the availability of supporting facilities surrounding the area. In addition, visual character and natural recreational potential serve as important factors in enhancing tourism appeal. These results are expected to serve as a foundation for designing more strategic and sustainable coastal tourism areas that can improve visitor experience.

Study Of Basic Concept Formulation In The Design Of Pandalungan Cultural Gallery In The Coastal Area Of Jember Regency

Pandalungan culture represents the cultural identity of the Jember community, which emerged from the interaction and blending of Javanese and Madurese traditions. This cultural combination shapes unique social patterns, artistic expressions, and cultural systems within society. Despite its rich cultural diversity, Jember still lacks an integrated facility that can accommodate activities related to cultural education, preservation, and appreciation. This condition is particularly evident in coastal areas, which function as public spaces and important tourism corridors. In response to this issue, the gallery design adopts the concept of “Lahbako Pesisiran,” an approach that combines the communal values reflected in the Lahbako tradition with the open and adaptive character of coastal environments. The design process involves analyzing users, activities, and site context to develop spatial strategies that emphasize learning, social interaction, and creativity. The study shows that integrating local cultural values with coastal environmental potential can create a cultural facility that supports preservation while strengthening public space and cultural identity.

Quality of Scholastic Tests in the New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) at Universitas Negeri Surabaya in the 2023 Academic Year

Scholastic tests play a critical role in university admission systems, serving as gatekeeping mechanisms that influence both institutional quality and educational equity. Despite their widespread use, empirical evaluations of institutional admission test quality remain limited, particularly in developing country contexts. This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the psychometric quality of the Scholastic Potential and Basic Ability Test (SPMB) administered at Universitas Negeri Surabaya during the 2023 academic year, examining reliability, item difficulty, discrimination indices, and distractor effectiveness. A quantitative descriptive research design using ex-post facto analysis was employed. The study analyzed test response data from 270 candidates who completed the 45-item SPMB, consisting of three subtests: Verbal Ability (15 items), Numerical and Reasoning Ability (15 items), and Figural Comprehension Ability (15 items). Data analysis utilized Classical Test Theory frameworks, calculating Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 (KR-20) reliability coefficients, item difficulty indices (p-values), point-biserial discrimination coefficients (rpbis), upper-lower 27% discrimination indices (D), and distractor effectiveness metrics using SPSS 26.0 and ITEMAN 4.3 software. The total test demonstrated good internal consistency reliability (KR-20 = 0.84) with a mean score of 25.84 (SD = 6.78, 57.42% of maximum). Approximately 62% of items exhibited optimal moderate difficulty (0.40 ≤ p < 0.80), and 73% demonstrated good-to-excellent discrimination (rpbis ≥ 0.30). However, three items showed poor discrimination (rpbis < 0.20), 22 distractors were non-functional (16.30%), and six distractors exhibited problematic positive discrimination (4.44%). Subtest reliabilities ranged from 0.70 to 0.75, classified as acceptable. The SPMB demonstrated generally satisfactory psychometric quality but requires targeted improvements through systematic item revision, enhanced item writer training, and continuous quality monitoring. Findings provide actionable guidance for evidence-based test refinement and contribute empirical evidence to admission testing literature in Southeast Asian higher education contexts.

Social Support and Resilience in Student: How the role of Hope as a Mediator Variable?

This study aims to prove the relationship between social support and resilience in student with hope as a mediator variable. The research subjects consisted of 185 students at Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School, Paciran, Lamongan. Research measuring instruments include a resilience scale, a social support scale, and The Indonesian Hope Scale (IHS). The data in this study were analyzed using path analysis test. The results prove that there is a significant and positive relationship between social support and resilience with hope as a mediator variable. The percentage of the mediating effect of hope is 68.4% in the relationship between social support and resilience. High social support will increase hope which in turn can increase resilience in students. The implication of this study for students is that it can provide awareness that establishing social relationships with people around and having hope for the future is very important to help them overcome pressures and challenges while living in boarding schools.

Contextual Architectural Design for Horticultural Research Facility in Trenggalek

This study aims to formulate a design concept for a horticultural research facility in Trenggalek Regency using a contextual architectural approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature study, analysis of regional planning documents, and precedent studies of similar buildings. The results show that a horticultural research facility requires the integration of research, production, and educational functions within a unified spatial system. In addition, zoning arrangements, controlled circulation, and environmental systems that support research activities are necessary. The “Bhumi Loka” concept is formulated as the design foundation, emphasizing the relationship between land as the primary medium of horticulture and space as a container for human activities. This concept produces a contextual, sustainable design approach that aligns with the agricultural characteristics of Trenggalek.

Corporate Reputation Construction through Media Public Relations Strategies on Instagram

The development of social media has transformed Public Relations practices in building corporate reputation through more interactive and participatory digital communication. Instagram, as a visual-based platform, has become one of the strategic media used by organizations to construct reputation through digital content management. This study aims to analyze the construction of corporate reputation through Media Public Relations strategies on Instagram implemented by Royal Fragrance. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include non-participant observation of Royal Fragrance’s Instagram account, documentation of digital content, and literature review to strengthen the theoretical analysis. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the construction of Royal Fragrance’s corporate reputation through Instagram is carried out through five main strategies: visual content management, audience interaction, influencer collaboration, brand storytelling, and digital communication consistency. Consistent visual content management helps build a premium and professional brand image. Audience interaction through digital communication features strengthens the relationship between the organization and its public. The use of influencers enhances brand visibility and social legitimacy. Furthermore, brand storytelling and consistent digital communication reinforce organizational identity and increase public trust. This study concludes that Instagram-based Media Public Relations plays a significant role in building corporate reputation in the era of digital communication. The findings contribute theoretically to the development of digital Media Public Relations and corporate reputation studies, while also providing practical implications for organizations in managing reputation through social media.

Developing a Bilingual Company Profile as Promotional Media and E-Catalogue for Agro Mineral Water

This study addresses the lack of effective, informative, and accessible promotional media at Agro Group, a company operating in the bottled drinking water industry. The absence of a structured company profile, product catalog, and digital promotional tools limited the company’s ability to communicate its brand identity, product variants, and credibility to both domestic and international stakeholders. This research applied the Design and Development Research (DDR) method, consisting of four stages: preliminary study, design, development, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, expert validation, and field testing. The outcome of this study is a bilingual (Indonesian–English) flipbook that integrates comprehensive company information, including background, product variants and packaging sizes, certifications, sustainability initiatives, and an interactive feature linking to a 2-minute 19-second bilingual company profile video. The validation and field testing results yielded an average score of 4.53 out of 5 (90.6%), indicating that the developed product is effective and professionally acceptable. This bilingual flipbook enhances Agro Mineral Water’s promotional strategy by improving credibility, accessibility, and engagement with both local and global audiences.

Study of Basic Concept Formulation in The Design of Vocational Training Center in Gresik Regency

Gresik Regency, as a rapidly developing industrial area, requires a workforce with skills that meet industrial demands. However, job training facilities that can effectively bridge the gap between the education sector and the industrial sector are still not optimal. The Job Training Center (BLK) plays an important role in improving workforce competence; therefore, a design approach is needed to comprehensively accommodate these needs. This study aims to formulate the basic design concept of a Job Training Center in Gresik Regency by considering user characteristics, object characteristics (functional), and site characteristics. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies and regional condition analysis. The results show that the proposed basic concept is “A Space for Synergy,” which integrates people, training activities, and the industrial environment into a mutually supportive system. This concept is implemented through flexible, open, and integrated spaces, enabling an effective training process that is relevant to industrial needs.

Developing Student Creativity Through Project-Based Learning in Leather Media Product Design

Craft media learning plays a strategic role in equipping students with the ability to process materials, techniques, and design concepts in an integrated manner. Leather media was chosen as the focus of the learning project because it has unique material characteristics and high artistic potential. Leather can be processed through various techniques, such as carving, pressing, sewing, and combinations with other materials, thus providing broad opportunities for students to explore the shape, texture, and function of the product. This study aims to develop student creativity through the application of project-based learning (PBL) in leather media product design in craft media learning. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group protest–post-test design. The research subjects consisted of 20 students of the Craft Education Study Program at the Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang, Indonesia. The results showed a significant increase in student creativity after the application of project-based learning. The average creativity score increased from 67.85 in the pretest to 82.60 in the posttest, with the t-test results showing a p value <0.05. The N-Gain value of 0.46 is in the moderate category, indicating that project-based learning is quite effective in developing student creativity. Therefore, it can be concluded that Project-Based Learning can be an effective alternative learning model in craft media learning to encourage student creativity and innovation.

Design of an Interactive Multimedia Gallery Based on Experiential Architecture and Environmental Analysis in Surabaya

Rapid digital transformation in urban environments has changed the way people access information and experience cultural spaces, increasing the demand for interactive and immersive architectural environments. In Surabaya, the availability of multimedia-based cultural facilities that integrate spatial experience and digital interaction remains limited. This study aims to develop a design framework for an Interactive Multimedia Gallery using an Experiential Architecture approach that integrates environmental responsiveness and multisensory spatial experience. The research focuses on a site located on Mayjend Sungkono Street, Surabaya. A qualitative-descriptive method combined with a design-based research approach is applied, including field observation, literature review, and environmental analysis. The findings indicate that environmental factors such as solar orientation, wind patterns, noise levels, and urban context significantly influence spatial zoning and design strategies. These conditions determine the arrangement of public, transitional, and immersive spaces within the gallery. Furthermore, experiential design strategies such as spatial sequencing, lighting modulation, material articulation, and interactive multimedia integration contribute to creating an immersive user experience. The study concludes that integrating environmental analysis with experiential architecture is essential for producing adaptive, interactive, and context-responsive cultural spaces in urban environments.

Therapeutic Architecture Based on Environmental Analysis in Healthcare Facility Design in Surabaya

Rapid urbanization in Surabaya has intensified environmental pressures, reduced green open spaces, and
increased stress levels among urban populations, highlighting the urgent need for healthcare
environments that support both physical recovery and psychological well-being. In this context,
therapeutic architecture offers a promising approach by integrating natural elements into spatial design
to enhance healing experiences.
This study aims to investigate the role of site analysis as a fundamental basis for designing holistic
healthcare facilities based on therapeutic architecture, focusing on a site located at Jalan Kalisari Permai I,
Mulyorejo District, Surabaya. The site is characterized by a relatively quiet residential environment,
adequate accessibility, and the presence of existing vegetation with favorable microclimatic conditions.
A qualitative descriptive method with a design-based research approach was employed, combining field
observations, literature review, and environmental analysis. Key site parameters include solar
orientation, wind patterns, noise levels, accessibility, vegetation, visual quality, and microclimate.
The findings reveal that site characteristics play a critical role in shaping therapeutic design strategies.
Variations in noise levels (74 dB at the front, 58 dB in the middle, and 49 dB at the rear) inform a layered
zoning system from public to private spaces. Solar exposure analysis highlights the need for heat control
on the western side and daylight optimization on the eastern and northern sides. Dominant east–west
wind patterns support cross-ventilation strategies, while existing vegetation enhances thermal comfort
and contributes to a restorative healing environment.
The implementation of therapeutic architecture is realized through hierarchical spatial zoning, passive
environmental design strategies, and the integration of a healing garden as a central design element.
This study contributes to bridging the gap between site analysis and architectural design by
demonstrating how environmental parameters can be systematically translated into spatial strategies for
holistic healthcare facilities. The findings provide a context-responsive design framework applicable to
urban healthcare environments in tropical regions.

Strategic Analysis of the Export Potential of Sentul Drums from Blitar: A Desk Research Approach

This study aims to conduct a strategic analysis of the export potential of Sentul Drums (also known as Kendang Sentul or Kendang Jimbe) from Blitar, East Java, using a pure desk-research approach. Anchored in Porter’s competitive advantage theory and the Uppsala internationalization model, the research synthesizes secondary data from government reports (BPS, Disperindag), official regulations, credible media (Antara News, Kompas, BlitarKawentar), and peer-reviewed literature (2021–2026). Findings reveal that Kendang Jimbe has become Blitar’s leading export commodity, generating Rp17.99 billion in 2025, driven by large-scale shipments to China (3,500 units worth Rp17.6 billion via BUMDes Ngoran in 2024 and over 5,000 units via UKM Jatim in early 2025). Digital Citizenship Literacy among University Students: The Mediating Role of Critical Thinking and Media Awareness in Combating Misinformation

The proliferation of misinformation in digital environments poses a critical challenge for university students, necessitating integrative competency frameworks beyond isolated cognitive skills. This study examined the mediating role of digital citizenship literacy in the relationship between critical thinking, media awareness, and resistance to misinformation among undergraduate students at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative cross-sectional survey design with purposive sampling, data were collected from 300 students across the Tadris IPS and Arabic Language Education programs using a validated five-point Likert-scale instrument. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. Results demonstrated that critical thinking and media awareness significantly predicted both digital citizenship literacy and resistance to misinformation. Digital citizenship literacy emerged as the strongest direct predictor of misinformation resistance (β = 0.389, p < 0.001) and significantly partially mediated the effects of critical thinking (β = 0.133) and media awareness (β = 0.116) on misinformation resistance. The full model explained 54.1% of variance in misinformation resistance. These findings suggest that cultivating digital citizenship norms constitutes the most proximal mechanism through which cognitive and media competencies translate into behavioral resistance to false information. Implications for curriculum development, pedagogical practice, and higher education policy are discussed.

The research adopts a qualitative literature review approach, drawing on international journal articles, scholarly books, and policy documents related to healthcare marketing and military institutions. Through this approach, the study synthesizes existing knowledge to identify key factors influencing the success of dual-role marketing. The findings reveal that the effectiveness of dual-role marketing is shaped by three primary factors. First, strengthening military institutional identity serves as a source of differentiation and enhances service credibility. Second, the application of public service–oriented marketing principles improves public trust, accessibility, and community engagement. Third, adaptive organizational governance is essential to align military operational demands with the expectations of civilian healthcare users. In conclusion, the success of marketing strategies in Indonesian Army hospitals depends on their ability to maintain a dynamic balance between defense functions and public service responsibilities. This study contributes to the conceptual advancement of public-sector marketing by integrating military and healthcare perspectives, while also offering practical insights for policymakers and hospital administrators in optimizing service delivery within dual-role institutional contexts.

This study examines the determining factors of industrial workers' housing locations as a basis for designing low-cost flats (Rusunawa) in Malang City. The rapid growth of industrial areas has increased the demand for affordable and well-located housing. However, most workers still live in inadequate rental housing with limited environmental quality. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with spatial analysis through field observation, mapping, and literature review. The results indicate that proximity to workplaces, accessibility, economic affordability, environmental quality, availability of public facilities, and compliance with spatial planning are the main determining factors. Based on site analysis, the selected location at Jl. S. Supriadi XI shows the highest suitability value. This study provides a conceptual basis for planning sustainable and efficient housing for industrial workers.

Climate Change and Disaster Impacts on Rose Production: The Moderating Role of Farmer Institutions and Socioeconomic Characteristics

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting rose production, including climate and disaster impacts, farmer group membership, partnership, gender, age, and education. The research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the Horticulture Household Survey (STH) conducted by the Central Java Bureau of Statistics, involving 107 farmers. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The results show that, simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influence rose production, as indicated by the Prob(F-statistic) value of 0.0251 (< 0.05). However, partially, only age and education have a positive and significant effect on production, while climate and disaster impacts, farmer group membership, partnership, and gender do not show significant effects. These findings suggest that farmers’ human capital plays a more important role than environmental and institutional factors in determining production outcomes. The study implies that improving farmers’ education and experience is crucial to increasing productivity. Strengthening extension services and training programs is recommended to enhance farmers’ adaptive capacity and technical skills. Future research should include additional variables such as land size, input use, and technology adoption to provide a more comprehensive analysis.

The methods used include interviews, observations, and psychological assessments (16 PF, DAP, BAUM, and HTP). The assessment results indicate tendencies toward social anxiety, overthinking, distrust of the social environment, and a strong need for social acceptance. Contributing factors include negative past experiences, environmental changes, and maladaptive thought patterns. The intervention was conducted through individual counseling using a cognitive approach combined with relaxation techniques and social skills training. The results show improvements in self-awareness, anxiety management, and the emergence of initiative in social interactions. However, the client still exhibits overthinking in certain situations. Overall, the intervention is considered effective in supporting the adjustment process, with a favorable prognosis if supported by a conducive environment and consistent follow-up interventions.

This study examines public acceptance of the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) program on social media through a qualitative content analysis of 100 comments purposively collected from Instagram, Twitter/X, and YouTube (between March 2025-March 2026). Manual sentiment analysis classified comments into positive, negative, and neutral categories, followed by thematic analysis to identify dominant discourse patterns. Grounded in Agenda Setting Theory (McCombs & Shaw) and Framing Theory (Entman), findings reveal that negative sentiment dominates public discourse, characterized by institutional distrust, budget accountability concerns, potential corruption, unequal distribution, and program sustainability. Twitter/X exhibited the most critical discursive character reflecting its deliberative nature, while YouTube demonstrated a more balanced sentiment distribution. Positive comments reflect appreciation for the program's nutritional objectives, particularly in addressing stunting. This negative dominance signals a credibility gap in government communication. Transparent, two-way, and evidence-based communication strategies are therefore imperative to shift public perception and strengthen trust in MBG implementation.

The Prevention and Eradication of Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) represents Indonesia’s principal national policy response to the escalating narcotics threat. This study evaluates the effectiveness of P4GN implementation by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and proposes an alternative model to strengthen its policy framework. Recognizing narcotics abuse as not merely a legal violation but also a complex social and public health issue, the research underscores the need to integrate legal, institutional, and socio-cultural dimensions in both policy design and execution. This study adopts a normative legal approach, supported by qualitative analysis of key regulatory instruments, including Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, Presidential Instructions, the National Action Plan for P4GN (RAN P4GN), and internal BNN regulations. The analysis focuses on policy coherence, orientation, and implementation gaps within the existing framework. The findings reveal that, despite a relatively comprehensive legal and institutional foundation, P4GN implementation remains predominantly repressive. Current strategies prioritize law enforcement while insufficiently addressing prevention, rehabilitation, and community empowerment. Moreover, the absence of clear differentiation between drug users and traffickers undermines policy effectiveness and raises human rights concerns, ultimately limiting the sustainability of narcotics control efforts. To address these shortcomings, this study proposes an alternative policy model that reconfigures P4GN through a more balanced and integrated approach. The model emphasizes legal reform, institutional strengthening, and transformation of legal culture, while prioritizing preventive measures, rehabilitation, and community engagement alongside targeted enforcement against drug syndicates. It also advocates the use of data-driven strategies and information technology to enhance coordination. Within this framework, BNN is repositioned as a central cross-sectoral coordinator, promoting synergy among stakeholders. Grounded in public health and restorative justice perspectives, the model offers a more adaptive, effective, and humane approach to narcotics control in Indonesia.

The rapid development of globalization and information technology has influenced children's exposure to various cultures from around the world. While this condition provides opportunities for children to broaden their perspectives, it may also reduce their familiarity with local cultural values. Early childhood education plays an important role in introducing cultural identity and local wisdom from an early age. Therefore, learning media that integrate cultural values into children's learning activities are needed. This study aims to develop a picture storybook based on the local wisdom of Ogan Ilir as a learning medium to introduce cultural values to early childhood and to determine its feasibility and effectiveness. This research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects of this study were 30 children aged 5–6 years in TK Pertiwi Indralaya, Ogan Ilir Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results showed that the developed storybook obtained a feasibility score of 94% from material experts and 91% from media experts categorized as very feasible. The learning outcomes also showed improvement, with the average score increasing from 60.8 in the pre-test to 86.3 in the post-test.

This study aims to determine suitable site selection criteria for developing an arts facility in Madiun Regency. Key criteria considered include accessibility, proximity to the city center, surrounding activity intensity, compliance with spatial planning regulations, and environmental conditions. Several alternative sites were analyzed and compared based on these criteria. Through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the local government has implemented various disaster training programs tailored to the types of threats present. However, the implementation of these training programs has not yet fully reached all areas in an equitable and sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze the needs for disaster training in Malang Regency. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through the analysis of secondary data related to disaster events, regional risk levels, and regional resilience indices, as well as the collection of primary data through semi-structured interviews with BPBD officials regarding the implementation of training programs and outreach activities. The results of the study indicate that there is a need to strengthen the capacity of local instructors, ensure equitable access to training—particularly in high-risk areas—implement simulation-based training methods on a sustainable basis, and provide disaster education and training facilities as integrated support for learning, simulation, and community capacity building. These efforts are expected to enhance community preparedness and strengthen regional resilience in facing future disasters.

Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan biomimikri dengan mengadaptasi mekanisme filtrasi, adaptasi bentuk, dan pengendalian aliran udara yang terdapat pada ekosistem mangrove. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip biomimikri tersebut menghasilkan strategi desain yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional bangunan, mengoptimalkan pengendalian aliran udara, serta menekan penyebaran bau pada kawasan sekitar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan biomimikri tidak hanya mendukung kinerja teknis fasilitas pengolahan sampah, tetapi juga memperkuat fungsi edukatif dan penerimaan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, PLTSa dapat diposisikan tidak hanya sebagai infrastruktur energi, tetapi juga sebagai representasi desain ekologis dalam pengelolaan lingkungan berkelanjutan.

This quantitative cross-sectional study investigates the influence of social media marketing on consumer purchase intention in fashion stores on the Shopee platform, with consumer trust as a mediating variable. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from respondents from Blitar city who had recent experience purchasing fashion products on Shopee. Social media marketing was measured through indicators such as attractive content, two-way interaction, trend updates, personalization, and electronic word-of-mouth. Consumer trust was assessed using competence, benevolence, and integrity dimensions, while purchase intention was evaluated based on intention to buy soon, serious consideration after viewing posts, and preference over other platforms. The data were analyzed using SPSS for validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests, and Hayes’ PROCESS macro for mediation analysis. The results revealed that all hypotheses were supported. Social media marketing had a positive and significant effect on consumer trust and on purchase intention. Consumer trust significantly influenced purchase intention and partially mediated the relationship between social media marketing and purchase intention. Theoretically, the study advances the Stimulus-Organism-Response framework and trust-transfer theory in the context of Indonesian social commerce. Practically, the findings recommend that fashion store owners prioritize high-quality visual content, responsive engagement, authentic testimonials, and personalized recommendations to build trust and enhance purchase intention on Shopee.

The Influence of Cashless Transaction Usage on Generation Z's Consumptive Behavior Moderated by Hedonic Lifestyle

This study aims to examine the influence of cashless transaction usage on Generation Z’s consumptive behavior and to determine whether hedonic lifestyle moderates the relationship. The research was conducted using a quantitative cross-sectional approach. Data were collected from 123 Generation Z respondents in Blitar City and its surrounding areas through a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire measured cashless transaction usage, consumptive behavior, and hedonic lifestyle. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics and Hayes’ PROCESS macro (Model 1) for moderation analysis. The results showed that the overall model was statistically significant and explained 56.4% of the variance in consumptive behavior. However, cashless transaction usage did not have a significant direct effect on consumptive behavior. Hedonic lifestyle also did not significantly moderate the relationship. Instead, hedonic lifestyle had a strong direct positive effect on consumptive behavior. These findings indicate that hedonic lifestyle, rather than cashless payment habits, is the main driver of impulsive and excessive consumption among Generation Z in this regional setting. The study contributes to consumer behavior theory by showing the important role of lifestyle factors in a cashless economy. Practically, the results can help fintech companies, educators, and policymakers create better programs to promote responsible spending among young people.

Effectiveness of Procedural Education in The Reduction of Hars Anxiety Scores in Pre-Surgical Patients

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of providing procedural education in reducing the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) anxiety score in pre-surgical patients at Purwakarta Holistic Hospital. Anxiety is a systemic stress response that often arises due to uncertainty of information about the invasive procedures that patients will face. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlative descriptive design through a cross-sectional design. The study population involved all pre-operative patients in the study period with a total sampling technique of 30 respondents. The research instruments included a completeness questionnaire and a HARS scale observation sheet to measure 14 parameters of clinical manifestations of anxiety. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Chi-Square correlation test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a secondary education background (53.3%) and received procedural information in the incomplete category (63.3%). The distribution of anxiety levels was dominated by the moderate category of 46.7%, where the most prominent clinical manifestations were palpitations, motor anxiety, and insomnia. The results of statistical tests proved that there was a significant relationship between the completeness of the procedural information provision and the reduction of the patient's anxiety score (p < 0.05). The study's conclusions confirm that comprehensive procedural education is effective as a therapeutic instrument to mitigate systemic stress responses and improve patients' adaptive coping before invasive measures. The research recommendations emphasize the importance of revitalizing the educational role of nurses through standard operating procedures that require pain management guidance to ensure hemodynamic stability and patient safety in the surgical unit.

This study aims to develop a mobile application for automatically detecting bias in online news using web scraping and rule-based text classification. The system retrieves articles from user-provided URLs and analyzes their content based on predefined keywords categorized into political, sensational, and confirmation bias. The development of digital technology in education has encouraged teachers to adopt innovative learning media to enhance students’ interest in learning, particularly in history subjects, which are often perceived as monotonous and less engaging. This study aimed to examine the utilization of documentary video-based digital media in improving students’ interest in learning history at SMA Negeri 2 Balaesang. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on an in-depth understanding of the implementation of documentary video media in history learning for grade XI students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed inductively to interpret the meaning of the findings. The results revealed that the use of documentary videos significantly increased students’ interest in learning history by presenting historical events in a more concrete, contextual, and engaging manner through audiovisual elements. Students demonstrated greater enthusiasm, improved understanding of historical concepts, and increased participation in discussions and learning activities. Teachers utilized documentary videos through systematic stages, including content selection, introductory explanation, video screening, reflective discussions, and evaluation activities. However, several challenges were identified, including limited technological infrastructure, unstable internet connectivity, time constraints, and varying levels of students’ visual literacy. Despite these obstacles, teachers remained committed to integrating documentary videos as an effective digital learning medium. In conclusion, documentary video-based digital media contributed positively to increasing students’ interest in learning history and created a more interactive, meaningful, and student-centered learning environment.

This study aims to analyze the strategies of history teachers in increasing student interest in history at SMA Negeri 2 Palu. The study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of history teachers who were directly involved in the learning process. The results showed that teachers implemented various innovative and interactive learning strategies, such as the use of varied learning methods, the use of technology and learning media, group discussions, the provision of rewards, and out-of-class learning activities through visits to historical sites. These strategies were able to increase student enthusiasm, participation, and involvement in history learning. In addition, environmental factors, student character, socioeconomic conditions, and the use of technology also influenced the effectiveness of the learning strategies implemented by teachers. This study concluded that the implementation of creative, flexible, and appropriate learning strategies according to student needs can increase interest in learning history more optimally in the school environment.

Comparatif Analysis of Production Factor Efficiency of Molded and Crystal Coconut Sugar Businesses in Banyumas Regency

Coconut sugar agroindustry is one of the important rural economic activities that contributes to household income and local economic development. Differences in production systems between molded coconut sugar and crystal coconut sugar businesses may influence the efficiency of production factor utilization, particularly in the use of sap as the main raw material. This study aimed to identify differences in the efficiency of production factor use between molded coconut sugar and crystal coconut sugar businesses. The research employed a quantitative approach using comparative analysis of production factor use efficiency in both types of businesses. Primary data were collected through interviews and observations of coconut sugar producers. The results showed that the efficiency value of sap utilization in molded coconut sugar businesses was 1.02, while the efficiency value in crystal coconut sugar businesses was 1.03. These findings indicate that both businesses were relatively efficient in utilizing sap as a production factor because the efficiency values were greater than one. However, the efficiency levels were not yet optimal due to unpredictable rainy and dry seasons, which affected the quantity and quality of sap production. Fluctuating weather conditions caused inconsistencies in sap yield and influenced the effectiveness of production activities.

This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership in improving the work motivation of history teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Banawa and identify the inhibiting factors faced. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the principal has made various efforts to improve the work motivation of history teachers through learning supervision, coaching, instilling discipline, providing role models, and verbal appreciation. In addition, the principal also strives to create a conducive work environment through good communication with teachers and education staff. However, the implementation of learning supervision has not been carried out consistently and has not been systematically documented, while the provision of awards to teachers is still limited and has not been done formally or continuously. This study also found several obstacles, including limited training and professional development, minimal award programs for outstanding teachers, and less than optimal innovation in history teacher learning. These conditions have an impact on teacher work motivation which is not optimal in the learning process. Nevertheless, the principal continues to strive to provide guidance and direction to improve the quality of learning and the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Banawa.

This study aims to determine the role of the principal in improving teacher performance and describe teacher performance at SMP Negeri 18 Sigi. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation with the research subjects of the principal and teachers. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the principal has a very important role in improving teacher performance which is carried out through the role of educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, motivator, and entrepreneur. As an educator, the principal provides academic coaching and supervision to teachers. As a manager and administrator, the principal systematically manages school programs and administration. As a supervisor, the principal supervises and evaluates teacher performance. As a leader and motivator, the principal provides an example. Teacher performance at SMP Negeri 18 Sigi has generally been running well. This is seen from the ability of teachers to develop collaborative lesson plans, implement the learning process based on the RPP, and conduct assessments that include aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Teachers are also able to build good relationships with students and implement remedial programs to improve student learning outcomes. The conclusion is that the role of the principal is very influential in improving teacher performance, and teacher performance at SMP Negeri 18 Sigi is already considered good even though it still needs improvement, especially in the aspects of motivation and continuous development.

This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR) video-based learning resource using the Assemblr Edu application on the subject of hydrosphere dynamics for Year 10 students at State Senior High School 1, Sigi Regency, and to determine its suitability and practicality. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which comprises the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques were carried out through expert validation questionnaires, teacher practitioner assessments, student response questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the developed learning media is classified as highly feasible, with a content validation rate of 90%, a media validation rate of 100%, and a teacher practitioner assessment rate of 88%. Furthermore, the pilot test results showed a practicality level of 83% and a student response rate of 91%, both falling within the ‘highly practical’ category. These results indicate that the Augmented Reality-based learning media using Assemblr Edu is capable of enhancing learning motivation, facilitating the understanding of abstract concepts, and creating a more interactive learning experience. Consequently, the developed learning media is suitable for use as an innovation in geography education.

This research aims to evaluate the physical and functional conditions of the Jember Regency Library Room based on national regulations such as Law no. 43 of 2007 and SNP 003:2011. The method used is descriptive qualitative through field observation and literature study. The focus of the evaluation includes aspects of space zoning, availability of supporting facilities, accessibility for people with disabilities, and security systems. The results of the study show that although the Jember Library has carried out its basic functions, there is a need for improvement in the aspects of inclusive accessibility and efficiency of multimedia layout to answer the dynamic needs of modern society. Village expansion policy has become an important instrument of rural administrative reform in Indonesia, aiming to improve governance effectiveness, expand access to public services, and accelerate local development. However, the success of village expansion remains uneven across regions, particularly in rural areas with varying institutional and fiscal capacities. This study examines the determinants of successful village expansion policy implementation in Takalar Regency. Specifically, the research analyzes how institutional capacity, leadership quality, fiscal support, community participation, and governance transparency influence the effectiveness of newly established village administrations.

Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through structured surveys involving village officials, community leaders, and residents from selected expanded villages in Takalar Regency. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The findings indicate that institutional capacity and leadership quality are the most significant predictors of successful village expansion, followed by fiscal support and community participation. Governance transparency also plays a moderating role by strengthening trust and collaboration between local government and citizens.

The study contributes to the literature on decentralization and rural governance by providing empirical evidence from the village-level reform context in Indonesia. Practically, the findings suggest that village expansion policies should not focus solely on territorial division, but also on strengthening administrative readiness, leadership competence, fiscal sustainability, and participatory governance. These insights are relevant for policymakers seeking to enhance the long-term effectiveness of rural administrative restructuring in developing countries.

This study aims to examine the functions and space requirements of the Bone Specialist Hospital in South Surabaya as a basis for planning facilities that meet standards. A descriptive qualitative method is used through literature studies, analysis of Ministry of Health regulations, and hospital benchmarking. The study results indicate that this facility requires a strictly structured spatial zoning. These zones must specifically separate emergency services, outpatient care, inpatient care, medical rehabilitation, as well as medical and non-medical support areas. Proper zoning planning and circulation flow are expected to provide optimal, effective, and integrated trauma services and enhance patient safety in the South Surabaya area.

Massive urbanization has created the phenomenon of "urban-nature disconnect," where city dwellers spend over 90% of their time indoors, shielded from natural elements (Kellert, 2008). This condition negatively impacts mental and physical health, often referred to as nature deficit disorder. Biophilic architecture emerged as a design solution aimed at reconnecting humans with nature through the built environment (Wilson, 1984). However, many current biophilic applications remain focused on purely cosmetic visual aspects, such as the placement of ornamental plants, without considering deeper sensory experiences. Juhani Pallasmaa (2005), in his theory of "The Eyes of the Skin," emphasizes that architecture should engage all human senses to create a sense of "presence" and a holistic sense of well-being. Therefore, a sensory approach is needed that is not merely statistical but also adaptive to environmental changes to optimize the quality of life of its occupants. The purpose of this research is to formulate biophilic design parameters that incorporate the senses of touch, smell, and hearing as adaptive elements in buildings. The contribution of this research is expected to be a guide for architects in designing spaces that support circadian health and human psychological comfort through dynamic natural stimulation.

Development Strategy of Roro Kuning Waterfall Tourism Area in Nganjuk Regency Based on the Integration of Natural Potential and Local Culture

Roro Kuning Waterfall, located in Bajulan Village, Loceret Subdistrict, Nganjuk Regency, is a nature-based tourism site containing both Wilis mountain landscape potential and the local cultural narrative of the Roro Kuning legend. Despite these combined strengths, visitor numbers remain low, reaching only 4,095 visitors during the third quarter of 2025, lagging 95.04% behind Jolotundo Tourism located in the same village. This study aims to formulate an area development strategy that integrates natural and cultural potential as a unified destination management framework. The method is descriptive-qualitative, involving field observation, interviews with the Nganjuk Tourism Office, policy document review, SWOT analysis, and carrying capacity analysis based on the 2021 Ministry of Tourism guidelines. Findings show that the area covers ±75,900 m² divided into three zones (gateway 23,800 m², core tourism 35,100 m², Selo Agung Park 17,000 m²) with an ideal capacity of 350 visitors per day. The development strategy is formulated through the "Confluence" approach, integrating water flow, landscape, and cultural activities through six strategic principles: flow integration, landscape adaptation, spatial sequence, activity convergence, cultural embedding, and ecological sustainability. This strategy is expected to improve destination competitiveness without sacrificing the ecological quality and cultural value of the area.

This study aims to analyze curriculum management in improving the quality of learning in early childhood education. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects included teachers and the principal at an early childhood education institution. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that curriculum management was implemented through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning activities. Planning was carried out by preparing learning instruments adjusted to children’s developmental needs. The implementation of learning was conducted flexibly and child-centered through a play-based learning approach. Evaluation was conducted continuously by emphasizing the overall developmental progress of children. The implementation of effective curriculum management contributed positively to improving the quality of learning in early childhood education.

Early marriage in developing countries presents psychological challenges, particularly regarding emotional readiness. This study examines the role of emotional maturity in marital quality among young couples. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA guidelines, a search was conducted via Publish or Perish on Google Scholar using relevant keywords. Out of 290 articles retrieved, 10 met the inclusion criteria for deep analysis. The findings consistently indicate a significant positive relationship between emotional maturity and marital quality. Mature individuals demonstrate higher adaptability in managing conflicts, role pressures, and household dynamics. Emotional maturity significantly enhances marital satisfaction, harmony, and stability, while lower maturity increases conflict risks. Furthermore, it works synergistically with social support and communication skills. Thus, emotional maturity serves as a crucial psychological prerequisite for a stable and harmonious marriage.

This study aims to analyze strategies for improving the export performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through training and capacity building at the Dodik Alfi macramé bag craft center in Blitar Regency, Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving key informants, including business owners, training managers, and MSME actors. The findings reveal that MSMEs are still at an early stage of internationalization, with limited and irregular export activities. Although the products possess strong competitive advantages, such as unique designs, high aesthetic value, and handmade characteristics, export performance is constrained by limited internal capacity, including lack of export knowledge, absence of product standardization, and insufficient production capacity. Training programs have improved technical skills and product innovation; however, they have not significantly enhanced export performance due to the lack of integration with export-specific competencies, such as international marketing, logistics management, and regulatory compliance. The study proposes an integrative model in which training enhances internal capacity, which subsequently influences export strategy and performance. Export is identified as the most feasible initial strategy, with potential development toward licensing and franchising in the long term. The study highlights the importance of aligning training programs with export needs and strengthening institutional support to accelerate MSME internationalization

Legal protection for victims of sexual violence constitutes a fundamental aspect of the rule of law and the realization of human rights. Beyond imposing sanctions on perpetrators, the state bears responsibility for ensuring justice, recovery, and the restoration of victims’ dignity, particularly for children who are highly vulnerable to physical and psychological harm. This study aims to analyze the implementation of policies addressing sexual violence in Indonesia, with a focus on their effectiveness in providing legal protection for child victims, and to develop a conceptual model for strengthening such protection. This research employs a normative juridical method, drawing on statutory regulations, judicial decisions, legal doctrines, and relevant theoretical frameworks. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study systematically examines the coherence between legal norms and their practical enforcement. The findings indicate that, despite significant normative progress in Indonesia’s legal framework on sexual violence, the implementation of these policies remains suboptimal. Persistent structural and functional gaps between legal formulation and law enforcement practices hinder the realization of effective protection for child victims. From the perspective of criminal law policy, this underscores the discrepancy between “law in the books” and “law in action.” To address these challenges, the study proposes an integrated policy implementation model consisting of three interrelated components: (1) a national regulatory framework as the normative foundation for guaranteeing children’s rights; (2) internal organizational policies focused on child safeguarding mechanisms; and (3) a community-based protection approach that positions local communities as key actors in prevention and response. This model offers a comprehensive strategy for enhancing the effectiveness of legal protection for child victims of sexual violence in Indonesia and provides broader insights for similar jurisdiction.

Films as an entertainment often contain various visual elements, one of which is violent scenes. In some cases, the presence of violence in films can have a negative impact on viewers, especially children. Therefore, a system is needed that can predict the potential existence of violent scenes in a film, particularly based on poster. This research aims to develop a system that uses machine learning methods to analyze movie posters and estimate the likelihood of the film containing violent scenes. The designed system will be trained using a dataset of movie posters labeled according to the level of violence present in the films. The posters will be analyzed using digital image processing techniques, and the results will serve as input for the machine learning model used in the system. The development process involves using artificial neural network (ANN) techniques, which have been proven effective in detecting relevant visual patterns. The research results show that the proposed system can achieve a high level of accuracy in predicting films that contain violent scenes based on their visual posters. Thus, this system can be useful for the film industry, parents, and regulatory agencies to identify inappropriate films for certain age before their release.

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation.Twenty MSMEs were interviewed using semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data to determine their experiences in receiving empowerment guidance from the Padang City government.The research results found six main themes of MSME empowerment carried out by the Padang City government, namely increasing human resource capacity, developing MSME institutions, facilitating access to financing, carrying out product innovation, expanding market networks, and creating ecosystem collaboration.This study contributes by placing MSMEs at the center of research and providing context-specific information on policy and practice. It also provides practical recommendations for program sustainability.

This system exhibits multiple deficiencies, including diploma forgery, lost diplomas, damaged diplomas,

application named e-Jazah was created to administer digital diplomas utilizing blockchain technology to
resolve these challenges. The construction of this new system seeks to mitigate the issues that emerged in
the prior manual system. Blockchain technology is employed to ensure data integrity. The solution is
designed to utilize a fundamental characteristic of blockchain technology—its tamper-resistant quality—
which protects data integrity from alteration or corruption attempts. The system is decentralized,
comprising numerous peers that operate the blockchain network. The blockchain network is constructed
using Hyperledger Fabric technology. Hyperledger Fabric was selected due to its status as a permissioned
blockchain and its user-friendly smart contract development features. The system consists of a frontend
component serving as the user interface, a backend component linking the frontend to the blockchain
network, and the blockchain network itself, with the update aimed at enhancing the UI/UX to improve user
experience. The established system streamlines the fundamental procedure of diploma issuance via its
functional specifications. The technology may authenticate diplomas using two methods: the diploma
number and a PDF document.

A toxic relationship is an interpersonal relationship characterized by unhealthy interaction patterns and the potential for negative psychological impacts on individuals such us low self-esteem. This study aims to systematically examine the role of self-esteem in individuals experiencing toxic relationships through a systematic literature review (SLR). The review process followed the PRISMA guidelines, with planning, implementation, and reporting stages. A literature search strategy was conducted in several scientific databases, namely Ebsco, ERIC, SagePub, ResearchGate, Taylor & Francis Online, and Wiley Online Library using the keywords self-esteem, self-worth, and toxic relationships. Of the 286 articles identified, 10 met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. The synthesis results show that self-esteem has three main roles: as a factor in an individual's vulnerability to involvement in toxic relationships, as a psychological consequence of unhealthy relationship experiences, and as a protective factor that increases an individual's resilience and psychological well-being. Individuals with low self-esteem are more vulnerable to maintaining detrimental relationships, while high self-esteem contributes to adaptive coping skills, psychological recovery, and the formation of healthier relationships. These findings emphasize the importance of psychological interventions based on strengthening self-esteem as a preventive and curative strategy for victims of toxic relationships.

The design of arts and cultural facilities in the city of Banyuwangi requires an understanding of local cultural characteristics so that the resulting buildings not only serve as venues for artistic activities but are also capable of representing the region’s identity. As an area rich in the traditions, arts and culture of the Osing people, Banyuwangi has great potential to provide facilities that support the sustainable preservation, development and promotion of culture.

This research aims to formulate a design concept for Arts and Culture Facilities using a Neo-Vernacular Architecture approach that integrates local cultural values into modern architecture. The methods employed include literature review, field observation, spatial needs analysis, and an assessment of Banyuwangi’s environmental and socio-cultural conditions.

The research results produced a design concept that emphasises local cultural identity, user comfort, spatial flexibility, and environmental sustainability through the application of distinctive Banyuwangi architectural elements in the massing, building form, and site layout. This concept is expected to serve as the foundation for realising arts and culture facilities that are functional, representative, and capable of becoming a centre for the preservation and development of Banyuwangi’s culture.

Designing A Cattle Farm Based On Modern Architecture in Banyuwangi Regency

Banyuwangi Regency is one of the regions with significant potential in the livestock sector, particularly beef cattle, which serve as a major contributor to local meat production. Despite its large cattle population and strategic position as a livestock distribution hub in East Java, existing livestock and cattle trading facilities in Banyuwangi are still predominantly traditional, lacking proper hygiene, efficiency, and compliance with animal welfare and sanitation standards. Problems related to inadequate housing infrastructure, poor health management, limited market access, and insufficient waste treatment remain major constraints that affect the productivity and quality of livestock. This study and design proposal aim to develop a concept for a modern architecture–based cattle farming and trading facility capable of addressing these issues. The design approach integrates four main perspectives: a functional approach to optimize cattle management and trading activities; an ecological architectural approach to ensure environmental sustainability; a socio-economic approach to improve farmer welfare and strengthen the local economy; and a contextual approach that aligns the design with the cultural and climatic characteristics of Banyuwangi. The proposed facility includes modern barns, veterinary health units, hygienic trading areas, educational spaces, feed storage facilities, and an integrated waste-management system. The results indicate that providing standardized, hygienic, and environmentally friendly livestock facilities can improve distribution efficiency, reduce disease risks, and enhance farmer productivity. Moreover, the integration of modern technology and zoning strategies based on animal welfare provides a better environmental quality for both livestock and facility users. Consequently, this design is expected to serve as a sustainable model for cattle farming and trading facilities while strengthening Banyuwangi’s position as a regional livestock agribusiness center.

Formulation of The Concept of Designing Swimming Sports Facilities in Mojokerto Regency with A Contextual Approach

The design of swimming sports facilities requires a strong understanding of local conditions so that the resulting buildings not only meet technical standards, but also align with the needs and identity of the community. Mojokerto Regency, with population growth, increasing interest in sports, and the availability of diverse land between urban and rural areas, presents challenges as well as opportunities in providing adequate swimming facilities. This study seeks to formulate the basic concept of swimming sports facility design through a contextual approach that places geographical, climatic, socio-cultural, regional spatial planning, and swimming pool planning standards in a central position. The research methods include literature review, national–international regulatory analysis, field observation, and identification of community needs and physical environmental characteristics. The results of the research resulted in a basic concept that emphasizes the integration of local contexts, spatial efficiency, environmental sustainability, user comfort, and conformity with FINA standards and national regulations. This concept is expected to be the basis for the process of designing swimming sports facilities that are functional, safe, inclusive, and relevant to the dynamics of the people of Mojokerto Regency, as well as opening up space for the development of more adaptive and sustainable sports facilities.

Study of Bioclimatic Architecture as A Basis for The Formation of A Sports Center in Batu City

This study examines bioclimatic architecture as the basis for developing a Sport Center in Batu City. The city’s mountain climate, moderate temperatures, and favorable natural ventilation potential provide an opportunity to implement climate-responsive design. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, climatic analysis, and evaluation of sports facility requirements. The findings indicate that building orientation, cross ventilation, solar control, vegetation integration, daylight utilization, and environmentally friendly materials can significantly improve thermal comfort while reducing energy consumption. The proposed Sport Center concept emphasizes adaptation to local climate conditions and sustainable architectural strategies. The study concludes that bioclimatic architecture can serve as an effective design framework for sports facilities in Batu City because it enhances environmental performance, user comfort, and long-term sustainability. The results provide a reference for planners, architects, and local governments in developing energy-efficient sports infrastructure.

Photo-to-Cartoon Image Translation Using CartoonGAN with a Joint Learning Approach

Photo-to-cartoon translation is a non-photorealistic rendering task that generates illustrative visuals while preserving fundamental object structures. This study proposes a CartoonGAN-based approach employing a joint learning scheme that integrates a lightweight denoising module into the generator. Trained end-to-end alongside the stylization process, this module suppresses noise and irrelevant textures without losing critical semantic information from input photographs. Using unpaired photo and cartoon images from the Hugging Face platform, the model is trained with a combination of adversarial and L1-based content losses to balance style generation and structural preservation. Experimental results indicate a stable and convergent training process, achieving an average content loss of 0.0286 and a generator adversarial loss of 0.3982 at epoch 50. Qualitatively, the generated images exhibit sharper contours, uniform color regions, and reduced fine textures compared to the original photographs. These findings demonstrate that integrating a denoising module via joint learning significantly improves visual consistency and training stability, providing an effective deep learning-based solution for photo-to-cartoon translation.

An Analysis of the Barabah Mandi Dance Style in Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province

This study aims to examine the Barabah Mandi dance style found in Nagari Koto Tinggi, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis nature. Through this method, the researcher describes the data obtained in the field, then analyzes it according to the focus of the research problem. The theory used in this study is the theory of style by Alan Lomax and the theory of dance form by Sumandiyo Hadi. The Barabah Mandi dance is a new creative dance that grew and developed in Nagari Koto Tinggi, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. This dance is inspired by a legend that tells the love story of a pair of lovers. The legend was then processed into a dance work that has a character or characteristic that can be seen in the dance form. The characteristics of the dance are influenced by the agrarian region and the dominant activities of the local community as farmers. So the style of the Barabah Mandi dance can be categorized as a darek style.

Analyzing Spatial Deixis in The Film Raya and The Last Dragon (2021)

This study analyzes spatial deixis in the animated film Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) using a pragmatic approach. The study aims to answer the research question what types and function of spatial deixis are found in the dialogues of the film Raya and The Last Dragon (2021). The theoretical framework applied in this study draws on Levinson's (1983) and Yule's (1996) proximal-distal classification for identifying types of spatial deixis, and Fillmore's (1997) gestural-symbolic distinction for analyzing their communicative functions. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design. The data consist of verbal utterances containing spatial deictic expressions produced by the characters throughout the film, collected through repeated observation of the film and verification using the official screenplay. The data were analyzed through a four-stage procedure consisting of code development, data classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that 20 instances of spatial deixis were identified, consisting of 11 instances of proximal spatial deixis and 9 instances of distal spatial deixis. In terms of function, 12 instances were classified as symbolic use and 8 instances as gestural use. Both functions were found to occur across both types, confirming that type and function are independent dimensions of deictic analysis. The findings demonstrate that spatial deixis in the film operates through both the speaker's immediate physical relationship to the referent and the shared situational knowledge of the communicative context, with the multimodal character of animated film playing a decisive role in enabling gestural deictic reference.

This study analyzes the types of perlocutionary acts found in the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The objective of the study is to identify and describe how utterances spoken by the characters produce observable effects on hearers. This research applies to a descriptive qualitative method because the data are in the form of words, scenes, contexts, and hearer responses rather than numerical measurement. The primary data consist of selected utterances from the movie, while the supporting data are taken from books and previous studies on pragmatic and speech acts. The data were collected through observation, transcription, note-taking, and purposive selection. The analysis was conducted by identifying the context, classifying the perlocutionary effect, and interpreting the hearer response. The findings show 26 perlocutionary data points from 25 dialogic contexts. Five types are identified: persuading, convincing, inspiring, intimidating, and insulting. Persuading appears as the dominant type because the movie contains many urgent action scenes, commands, warnings, and emotional appeals that directly influence the hearers.

Work Life Quality, Employee Engagement, and Productivity Among Nurses: Insights From A Public Healthcare Organization

Hospitals face increasing pressure to deliver high-quality, safe, and timely healthcare services while managing workforce challenges, including heavy nursing workloads and growing organizational demands. As frontline healthcare providers, nurses play a critical role in ensuring service quality and organizational performance. This study examined the effects of Quality of Work Life (QWL) and employee engagement on nursing productivity at Welas Asih Regional General Hospital, West Java Province, Indonesia. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among nursing personnel. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess the partial and simultaneous effects of QWL and employee engagement on productivity. The results showed that both QWL and employee engagement had positive and significant effects on nursing productivity, both individually and jointly. The regression model explained 73.3% of the variance in productivity, indicating a substantial contribution of the two variables. QWL emerged as the more dominant predictor of productivity, suggesting that improvements in working conditions may yield greater productivity gains. Although nurses reported favorable levels of QWL and employee engagement, challenges remained in workload management, work–life balance, and career development. Nursing productivity was generally high, with performance strengths concentrated in service quality rather than work quantity and timeliness. These findings highlight the importance of creating supportive work environments and fostering employee engagement to enhance nursing productivity. Hospital managers should prioritize workforce policies that improve working conditions, strengthen employee involvement, and address workload-related challenges to sustain high-quality healthcare delivery.

Sustainability Learning and Cocoa Farmers’ Readiness for EUDR Compliance: Insights from a Desk Study in Indonesia

As one of the world’s major cocoa-producing countries, Indonesia faces considerable challenges in ensuring that smallholder farmers comply with EUDR provisions related to traceability, geolocation, and deforestation-free production. In this context, sustainability learning has emerged as a critical factor in strengthening farmers’ capacity to adapt to evolving environmental and market standards. This study examines the relationship between sustainability learning and cocoa farmers’ readiness for EUDR compliance through a desk study approach. Data were collected from scientific journal articles, policy documents, reports from international organizations, and government publications related to agricultural extension, sustainability education, digital literacy, and cocoa governance. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The findings indicate that farmers’ readiness for EUDR compliance is strongly influenced by sustainability learning opportunities, the effectiveness of agricultural extension services, and the level of digital literacy required for traceability systems. Significant knowledge gaps regarding EUDR requirements remain, particularly among smallholders in remote areas. Strengthening sustainability-oriented extension programs, promoting digital learning platforms, and enhancing institutional support are essential for improving compliance readiness. This study contributes to the literature on sustainability education and offers policy insights for supporting cocoa farmers in meeting emerging global sustainability standards.

Strengthening Cocoa Farmers’ Capacity for EUDR Compliance: A Policy Review of Agricultural Education and Extension in Indonesia

This study aims to review the role of agricultural education and extension policies in supporting cocoa farmers’ readiness for EUDR compliance. A policy review approach was employed using secondary data obtained from academic publications, government regulations, policy documents, and reports from international organizations related to agricultural education, extension services, sustainability governance, and cocoa development. Data were analyzed through thematic content analysis to identify policy priorities, implementation challenges, and capacity-building opportunities. The findings indicate that agricultural education and extension systems play a crucial role in enhancing farmers’ knowledge, environmental awareness, digital literacy, and traceability capabilities. However, existing policies remain constrained by limited institutional coordination, unequal access to extension services, and insufficient integration of EUDR-related competencies into farmer training programs. Strengthening policy coherence, expanding sustainability-oriented extension initiatives, and promoting digital learning mechanisms are essential for improving farmers’ preparedness. This study contributes to the literature on agricultural education and provides policy recommendations for supporting sustainable cocoa production and EUDR compliance in Indonesia.
