https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1173

Stroke is a disease that causes neurological dysfunction, long-term disability, and death. Long-term increases in blood pressure can trigger stroke. Therefore, stroke prevention behavior needs to be improved as an effort to prevent stroke in hypertension patients. The purpose of this study is to represent stroke prevention behavior carried out by hypertension patients. The research design used is quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in the working area of the Sooko Community Health Center with a population of hypertension patients, the number of samples was 52 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results showed that most of the respondents carried out stroke prevention behavior in the adequate category as many as 27 respondents (52%). Stroke prevention behavior in the sufficient category can be reflected in the respondents' efforts to control blood pressure, take antihypertensive drugs as recommended, limit consumption of foods high in salt and fat, do regular exercise, and have regular health checks, although not yet done consistently.
Arum Dwi NingsihRizky Meuthia PratiwiLutfi WahyuniBinarti Dwi Wahyuningsih

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1196

University graduate job seekers in Indonesia face intense labor market competition, which may give rise to fear of failure. This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and social support with fear of failure among job seekers. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving 314 job seekers under the age of 29 who held a university degree, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using three Likert-type scales: a fear of failure scale adapted from the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (Conroy et al., 2002), a self-efficacy scale based on the dimensions of level, strength, and generality (Bandura, 1997), and a social support scale based on the dimensions proposed by Cutrona and Russell (1987). Data were analyzed using multiple regression with SPSS version 27. The results showed that self-efficacy and social support were simultaneously and significantly negatively related to fear of failure (R = .572, R² = .327, p < .001), accounting for 32.7% of the variance. Partially, self-efficacy (t = -6.421, p < .001) contributed more strongly than social support (t = -3.473, p < .001) in predicting fear of failure. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-efficacy and social support networks as psychological intervention strategies for job seekers navigating a competitive labor market.
Pandi NurhadiAndik MatulessyAmanda Pasca Rini

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1216

Patient satisfaction is a key indicator of healthcare service quality and reflects patients' evaluation of the services they receive. Although Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital (RSUD Pasar Rebo), Jakarta, has achieved a high level of public satisfaction, patient feedback continues to indicate concerns regarding service fairness and the clarity of information provided during outpatient care. This study aimed to examine the effects of perceived service justice and information clarity on outpatient satisfaction at RSUD Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. A quantitative explanatory research design employing a survey method was used. Primary data were collected through questionnaires administered to 392 outpatient respondents and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted using t-tests to examine the partial effects of each independent variable and an F-test to assess their simultaneous effect on patient satisfaction. The findings revealed that perceived service justice and information clarity had positive and statistically significant effects on outpatient satisfaction, both individually and simultaneously. Descriptive analysis indicated that respondents generally perceived service justice and information clarity to be at a good level. Nevertheless, several issues remained, particularly regarding queue management, administrative procedures, accessibility of information, and consistency in information delivery during peak service hours. Patient satisfaction was also categorized as good, although it remained at a moderate level, suggesting that patients generally had positive service experiences but that their expectations had not been fully met. The study concludes that strengthening fairness in service delivery and ensuring that information is clear, accessible, and consistently communicated are important strategies for improving outpatient satisfaction. These findings provide practical implications for hospital management in designing patient-centered service quality improvement initiatives.
Andi MulyawanTasya AspirantiDede R. Oktini

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/911

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the behavior and character formation of Generation Alpha, creating challenges for Islamic character education in both formal and non-formal educational settings. As a community-based Islamic educational institution, the mosque has a strategic role in strengthening children's character through religious habituation programs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Maghrib Mengaji Program, identify the character values developed, examine the role of the mosque in strengthening character education, and explore the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the program at Al-Hidayah Mosque, Gandawesi Village, Ligung District, Majalengka Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving mosque administrators, Qur'anic teachers (ustadz), parents, and program participants. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Maghrib Mengaji Program is implemented systematically through congregational Maghrib prayer, Qur'anic learning, tahsin, memorization of short surahs, Islamic moral instruction, and continuous religious habituation. The program successfully strengthens religious character, discipline, responsibility, honesty, independence, politeness, and social awareness among Generation Alpha. Its success is supported by collaboration among mosque administrators, teachers, parents, and the local community, while challenges include excessive digital device use, limited teaching personnel, and inconsistent participant attendance. This study concludes that the Maghrib Mengaji Program represents an effective mosque-based model of non-formal Islamic education for strengthening the character of Generation Alpha through the integration of Qur'anic learning, exemplary practices, religious habituation, and community participation.

Mahathir AkbarDidi MustahdiDudung Abdul RohmanSifa Syahidah

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1226

Patient safety in primary healthcare depends not only on formal safety procedures but also on the organizational environment and leadership that shape employees’ safety-related behavior. This study examined the relationship of patient safety culture and transformational leadership with employee safety behavior at UPTD Puskesmas Cipadung, Bandung, Indonesia. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted in 2026 using total population sampling involving all 39 employees of the health center. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measuring patient safety culture, transformational leadership, and employee safety behavior on a four-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s alpha, Spearman correlation, and multiple linear regression. The findings showed that patient safety culture was perceived as very high (mean = 3.83), transformational leadership was very high (mean = 3.84), and employee safety behavior was very high (mean = 3.86). Incident reporting had the highest mean among the patient safety culture dimensions (3.88), while intellectual stimulation was the highest transformational leadership dimension (3.87). Employee safety behavior showed similarly high levels of safety compliance (3.86) and safety participation (3.85). Multiple linear regression showed that patient safety culture had a positive and significant effect on employee safety behavior (β = 0.620; p < 0.001), while transformational leadership also had a positive and significant effect (β = 0.516; p = 0.001). The regression model was statistically significant (F = 64.828; p < 0.001) and explained 78.3% of the variance in employee safety behavior (R² = 0.783). Patient safety culture demonstrated the stronger relative contribution, although transformational leadership also made a significant independent contribution. These findings indicate that employee safety behavior in primary healthcare is associated with both a supportive patient safety culture and transformational leadership. Strengthening safety culture through open communication, incident reporting, teamwork, organizational learning, and employee participation, together with leadership that encourages motivation and problem solving, may support the sustainability of safe practices in primary healthcare.
Sessika YunisaNurdin NurdinTitik Respati

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1171

Online grooming of children has emerged as one of the most alarming manifestations of digital sexual exploitation, yet Indonesia's criminal law framework has been slow to address it coherently. This study examines whether four major Indonesian criminal law instruments, the Child Protection Act (Law No. 35 of 2014), the Electronic Information and Transactions Act (Law No. 19 of 2016), the Sexual Violence Crimes Act (Law No. 12 of 2022), and the National Penal Code (Law No. 1 of 2023), are adequate to criminalize and prosecute online grooming behavior against children. Employing a normative legal research design with statute and conceptual approaches, this study analyzes primary legal materials and international instruments to identify normative gaps. The findings reveal three critical deficiencies: the absence of a statutory definition of grooming, incomplete coverage of preparatory acts as independent criminal offenses, and inadequate cross-sectoral coordination mechanisms. While the Sexual Violence Crimes Act and the National Penal Code represent meaningful legislative progress, neither fully incorporates online grooming as a distinct, standalone criminal offense. This study recommends targeted legislative amendments and enhanced implementation protocols to align Indonesia's criminal law framework with its obligations under the Convention on the Rights of the Child and international child protection standards.
Fadli Yasser Arafat JuandaM Zaldy

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1194

This study examines the influence of self-efficacy and self-confidence on students' learning anxiety, with extrinsic motivation acting as a mediating variable among elementary school students. A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was used in this study. This study involved 360 elementary school students who were selected through probability sampling techniques. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that self-efficacy and self-confidence significantly affect learning anxiety. In addition, extrinsic motivation also has a significant influence on learning anxiety. However, the role of extrinsic motivational mediation in the relationship between Self-Efficacy and learning anxiety, as well as between self-confidence and learning anxiety, is not supported by data. The results showed that internal psychological factors played a more prominent role in influencing students' learning anxiety compared to external motivational factors. Therefore, strengthening students' Self-Efficacy and confidence is essential to reduce learning anxiety and encourage a more effective learning experience.
Fitria YuningsihMuniro TujdujaAnin DevianiOnwardono Rit Riyanto

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1214

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed adolescent behavioral patterns, particularly in social media usage, leading to increased insomnia risk. This community service activity aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of healthy sleep pattern education in reducing insomnia risk among adolescents in Sukatani area. A pre-experimental design with one-group pre-test and post-test was employed involving 30 adolescents aged 15-18 years. The educational intervention was conducted through interactive counseling sessions supported by presentation media at Sukatani Public Health Center on May 23, 2026. Knowledge assessment was performed using a validated questionnaire consisting of 8 multiple-choice and true/false questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test. Results showed that the mean pre-test score was 95.8, which increased to 97.5 in the post-test, with an average increase of 1.7 points. The paired t-test analysis revealed a significant improvement in knowledge scores (p<0.05). However, only 20% of participants showed individual score improvement due to ceiling effect, where 73.3% of participants had already achieved perfect scores in the pre-test. The educational program effectively improved adolescents' knowledge about healthy sleep patterns and insomnia prevention. Interactive educational methods are recommended for adolescent health education programs, with consideration of baseline knowledge levels in program evaluation design
Tisa AmaliaElsa MarlianaAyu Izzatin HaifaNindya Sekar MayuriFathimatuzzahrohGhina Rifa CahyaniMaria AdityaM.
This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support on the performance of Indonesian National Police Civil Servants (PNS) at the West Sumatra Regional Police, with career development and work motivation as mediating variables. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that not all relationships between variables were positive. Several variables demonstrated a significant negative effect on employee performance. This finding indicates that increased perceived organizational support and career development do not always lead to improved performance, especially when their implementation does not align with employee expectations.

Furthermore, work motivation was shown to act as a mediating variable explaining the relationship between organizational variables and performance. This study implies that organizations need to consider aspects of fairness, transparency, and policy appropriateness in human resource management to optimally improve performance.
Deswita DeswitaYunia Wardi

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1224

The increasing integration of digital technologies into healthcare has transformed patient interactions with healthcare providers, making digital service quality an increasingly important determinant of patient experience and behavioral outcomes. However, empirical evidence regarding how digital service quality influences patient loyalty within government-supported digital healthcare systems remains limited, particularly in the context of Indonesia's National Health Insurance program. This study aimed to examine the effects of digital service quality on patient satisfaction and patient loyalty and to determine the mediating role of patient satisfaction among BPJS Kesehatan participants using the Mobile JKN application at Permata Bunda General Hospital, Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted among 331 BPJS Kesehatan participants selected through consecutive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that digital service quality had a strong positive effect on patient satisfaction (β = 0.878) and a positive direct effect on patient loyalty (β = 0.393). Patient satisfaction also had a positive effect on patient loyalty (β = 0.518). Furthermore, digital service quality demonstrated a positive indirect effect on patient loyalty through patient satisfaction (0.455), with a total effect of 0.848, indicating partial mediation. The model explained 77.2% of the variance in patient satisfaction and 78.2% of the variance in patient loyalty. These findings demonstrate that digital service quality contributes to patient loyalty through both direct functional value and indirect effects mediated by patient satisfaction. The study extends the understanding of digital healthcare service quality by demonstrating that digital interactions constitute an integral component of the patient experience within a national health insurance system. Strengthening the reliability, efficiency, responsiveness, security, accessibility, and usability of digital healthcare services may therefore enhance patient satisfaction and foster more sustainable patient relationships in digitally integrated healthcare delivery.
Fadila AznafurySri SuwarsiDiamonalisa Sofianty

Emotion regulation, as an individual's ability to manage emotional responses, is thought to have an important role in suppressing the negative impact of doomscrolling on anxiety. This study used a correlational quantitative approach, involving 237 3rd-grade students as participants. The instruments used included the doomscrolling scale, the emotion regulation scale (DERS), and the anxiety scale (RCMAS-2), all in Likert-scale format. The results of the data analysis showed a significant association between doomscrolling and emotion regulation and adolescent anxiety (R = 0.807; p < 0.01), with an explained variance of 65%. Partially, doomscrolling showed a significant positive association with anxiety (t = 4.115; p < 0.05), whereas emotion regulation showed a significant negative association (t = -14.433; p < 0.05). This suggests that the higher the intensity of doomscrolling, the higher the teen's anxiety levels; Conversely, the better the regulation of emotions, the lower the level of anxiety felt. These findings provide important implications for psychological interventions in helping adolescents manage healthy social media use and improve their ability to regulate emotions to reduce anxiety risk.
Prima PermatasariDiah Sofiah Isrida Yul Arifiana

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1211

Academic achievement is one of the important indicators of students' success in the educational process.
Students' academic achievement is not only influenced by external factors, such as learning environments
and teaching methods, but also by internal factors related to students' ability to manage their own learning
processes. One of the psychological factors that plays an important role in learning activities is selfregulated learning (SRL), which refers to an individual's ability to plan, monitor, control, and evaluate their
learning activities independently. Low levels of self-regulated learningmay cause students to experience
difficulties in managing study time, maintaining academic motivation, and achieving optimal learning
outcomes. Therefore, an intervention through self-regulated learning psychoeducation is needed to help
students improve their ability to regulate their learning processes. This study aims to determine the effect
of self-regulated learning psychoeducation on improving students' academic achievement at SMP Negeri 4
Sumbawa. This study employs a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a one-group
pretest-posttest design. The participants of this study are planned to consist of approximately 30–50
students from SMP Negeri 4 Sumbawa who meet the research criteria. Data collection will be conducted
using a self-regulated learning scale, documentation of students' academic scores, and measurements
conducted before and after the psychoeducational intervention. Data analysis will be performed using
inferential statistical analysis with a paired sample t-test to examine differences in students' learning
abilities before and after the intervention. The expected results of this study indicate that self-regulated
learning psychoeducation can improve students' ability to manage their learning processes, increase
academic motivation, and positively influence academic achievement. This research is expected to
contribute to the field of educational psychology, particularly regarding the implementation of
psychological interventions to develop students' independent learning abilities and improve their academic
performance.
Rahmad AkbarsyahDjudiyah

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1177

Bojonegoro is widely known as an oil and gas producing region, marked by traditional drilling towers still standing in the Wonocolo area. This identity has not yet been developed into a city landmark supporting the local creative economy. This study formulates a concept for transforming the form and meaning of the oil and gas tower into a creative economy facility functioning as a visual icon for Bojonegoro. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied through a combined metaphor design method, merging the tower's concrete visual elements with the abstract values of productivity and communal spirit held by local miners. Data were gathered through field observation of the towers and five leading craft centers, literature review, precedent study, and visual documentation, then analyzed through element identification, abstraction, and design reinterpretation. Findings show that the tower's vertical form, cross-braced frame, and mechanical character can be translated into a landmark tower twenty to twenty-five meters tall with a frame-patterned facade, accommodating production, training, and marketing spaces for five featured crafts within a total floor area of about 4,950 square meters. The resulting concept, the Industrial Creative Tower, is expected to strengthen Bojonegoro's image while providing growth space for craft-based creative economy.
Serli Uswatun ChasanahMufidahJoko Santoso

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1199

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a positive psychology-based digital psychoeducation intervention in improving self-esteem among Generation Z individuals who experience upward social comparison on social media. A quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed, involving 13 participants selected through purposive sampling. The intervention was delivered digitally over four days and included gratitude journaling and character strengths components. Self-esteem was measured using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale before and after the intervention. Results showed that the mean self-esteem score increased from 26.69 at pretest to 28.31 at posttest, with a medium effect size (Cohen's d = 0.50). However, the paired sample t-test indicated that this increase was not statistically significant (t = -1.819, df = 12, p = 0.094). These findings suggest a promising, though inconclusive, direction of change, indicating that brief digital positive psychology interventions may hold potential benefits for improving self-esteem that warrant further testing with larger samples and a control group
Alda SyafiraDjudiyah

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1221

Financial inclusion can improve access to capital while leaving low-income households exposed to losses that destroy income, assets and repayment capacity. This review asks a different question from product-centred studies: what institutional design conditions enable Islamic social finance, community-based financial intermediation, and microtakaful to function as a single credible protection system? A systematic evidence synthesis was undertaken using a verified source ledger and a framework-analysis protocol. Peer-reviewed studies and authoritative policy documents published mainly between 2005 and 2026 were searched through publisher platforms, DOI/Crossref records, Google Scholar, DOAJ and institutional repositories. Thirty substantive publications and seven methodological or policy sources were retained after relevance, traceability and quality checks. The evidence was coded across the protection lifecycle: household entry, affordability support, risk pooling, claims, accountability and recovery outcomes. Four recurrent system failures were identified: finance–protection mismatch, unstable contribution support, claims-related trust erosion and blurred institutional responsibility. In response, the review develops a four-layer Solidarity Protection Stack. The household interface is separated from social-fund eligibility, licensed risk management and independent assurance. Infaq is positioned as transitional affordability capital rather than a permanent substitute for participant contributions or actuarial reserves. Baitul Maal wat Tamwil may aggregate, educate and assist participants, but underwriting and claims liability remain with a licensed takaful operator. The framework’s novelty lies in organising existing Islamic instruments around the participant’s protection journey and measurable recovery, rather than around institutional products. The review provides design propositions for pilots, regulation and future impact evaluation in Indonesia and comparable markets.
Raden Ali PangestuNoriza Binti Abd AzizMuhammad Hafiz Azizan

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1165

This study aims to comprehensively describe the internal role structure of performers and the local nomenclature of rhythmic patterns produced by the rapai instrument in the Indang traditional performance within Nagari Tandikek. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach with an ethnomusicological perspective, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with a maestro and tukang dikie of Indang, supplemented by direct field observations of drumming techniques. The findings reveal that Indang Tandikek possesses a highly specific and rigid role structure consisting of tukang dikie, tukang karang, tukang darak, tukang lalu, tukang apik, tukang aliah, and tukang panuruikan. Each role fulfills a distinct musical function crucial to maintaining performance continuity. Regarding organology and drumming techniques, the study identifies distinct local interlocking variations: darak panjang serves exclusively as the opening pattern, while the darak pendek group—comprising darak katereang, darak patiang jongkek, and darak tujuah—is played during vocal (dendang) pauses. Furthermore, the overall dynamics and tempo esclations are governed collectively through intuition (feeling) and technical mastery of the primary players rather than strict mathematical counts. This study concludes that the rhythmic complexity of Indang Tandikek functions not only as a visual aesthetic regulator but also as a preservation mechanism for social rhythms through a transmission system rooted in the kulipah (school lineage).
Hasanul Rizki FebrianAditya Dwi Ananda FirdausAsril

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1185

The massive development of information technology has fundamentally revolutionized corporate operational governance, where business process automation through Accounting Information Systems (AIS) has become an absolute necessity to eliminate inefficiencies and improve data accuracy. Nonetheless, the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) distributor sector still faces a significant gap due to the dominance of manual or semi-digital (spreadsheet) recording methods. These conventional methods trigger delays in reporting, data entry errors, and the weakening of internal control functions. This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the goods sales AIS at PT Bersama Menuju Sukses—as a distributor of KAO products—in integrating transaction flows, increasing recording efficiency, and producing accurate and accountable financial statements. The research method employed is a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, where data collection was conducted through direct observation, in-depth interviews with management, and analysis of documents related to the company's sales cycle. The results indicate that the evaluation of the sales AIS successfully mapped internal obstacles such as human resource resistance and data integration limitations, while simultaneously identifying the potential implementation of strict control features including visit route determination (fix route) and automated reconciliation. The implementation of an integrated sales AIS is proven to be crucial as a fraud risk mitigation instrument as well as a primary fortress in presenting high-value financial information for strategic managerial decision-making
Hendra MaulanaHenni IndarriyantiSaiful Nggufron Efendi

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1218

Forming the faith of children in the digital era demands a methodological transformation from the conventional lecture-based approach toward more visual and interactive methods. While various studies have examined visual media in faith education, research on the negotiation of the meaning of religious symbols within the context of local culture specifically Dayak culture remains limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of visual-participatory catechesis based on YOUCAT for Kids within the Children’s Catholic Faith Formation Program at the Cathedral Parish of Saint Mary, Palangka Raya. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design and the photo-elicitation method, involving 14 informants consisting of Children’s Catholic Faith Formation children, the parish priest, the head of the evangelization ministry, catechists, and parents, and was conducted over a one-month period. Analysis is carried out using George Herbert Mead’s Symbolic Interactionism and James Fowler’s Theory of Faith Development to understand how children negotiate the meaning of Western religious symbols within the context of Dayak culture. The results show that the use of visual media significantly improves material retention and active participation among children. Furthermore, the study identifies a process of meaning negotiation when children interpret sacramental symbols through their local cultural experiences. This research proposes a five-stage catechetical model Observing, Listening, Dialoguing, Participating, and Living as a pastoral solution for the local Church in addressing the challenges of Generation Alpha. The study is limited to a single parish and a relatively short research duration, so the findings cannot yet be generalized to broader contexts.
Elia KarismaFransiskus Janu HamuAgnes Angi Dian Winei

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1163

This study investigated the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum Foundation Phase and its contribution to enhancing collaboration and independence among children aged 5–6 years at TK Tadika Puri, South Jakarta, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with school principals, teachers, curriculum coordinators, and parents, complemented by classroom observations and document analysis. Participants were selected through purposive sampling based on their direct involvement in Foundation Phase curriculum enactment. Data were analysed using reflexive thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke's six-step procedure, with trustworthiness established through triangulation, member checking, peer debriefing, and thick description. Four major themes emerged from the analysis: policy communication and stakeholder understanding, classroom practices supporting collaboration, development of children's independence, and challenges and supporting factors in policy implementation. Findings revealed that effective policy communication, facilitated through iterative professional dialogue and principal leadership, progressively deepened teachers' conceptual understanding of Foundation Phase principles. Collaborative classroom practices—including cooperative play, joint problem-solving, and shared group responsibilities—produced observable improvements in children's peer interaction and cooperative behaviours. Children's independence developed along a scaffolded pedagogical pathway from teacher-directed support toward increasingly autonomous self-directed engagement, though individual developmental variability was consistently noted. Persistent implementation challenges included administrative documentation burden, variation in teacher readiness, and limited access to sustained professional development. The study contributes to educational policy implementation literature by demonstrating an empirical pathway linking policy communication processes, through classroom pedagogical practices, to observable child developmental outcomes, thereby positioning child competency development as a meaningful indicator of policy implementation effectiveness.
Erna WidiastutiTri RijantoMuji Sri Prastiwi

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1229

This study examines the relationships among perceived supervisor support, trust, intrinsic motivation, and employee engagement among employees of PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi Sumatera Barat. A quantitative causal-associative design was applied to 264 employees selected from a population of 779 employees. Data were collected using a five-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares through SmartPLS. The measurement model was evaluated using convergent validity, discriminant validity, Cronbach’s alpha, and composite reliability, while the structural model was evaluated using R-square and bootstrapping. The findings show that perceived supervisor support does not have a significant direct effect on employee engagement (β = 0.055; t = 0.702; p = 0.483). However, perceived supervisor support has positive and significant effects on trust (β = 0.694; t = 14.992; p < 0.001) and intrinsic motivation (β = 0.470; t = 5.125; p < 0.001). Trust (β = 0.234; t = 3.644; p < 0.001) and intrinsic motivation (β = 0.492; t = 7.087; p < 0.001) significantly increase employee engagement. Both intrinsic motivation (indirect β = 0.231; p = 0.001) and trust (indirect β = 0.162; p < 0.001) significantly mediate the relationship between perceived supervisor support and employee engagement. The results indicate that supervisor support becomes more effective when it strengthens employees’ internal motivation and trust.
Agung Ary WibowoSyahrizal

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1195

This study examines the aesthetics of conflict in the creation of the film Salisiah Adaik, which portrays a dispute between two Minangkabau marriage customs: the Bajapuik tradition of the Pariaman community and the Maisi Sasuduik tradition of the Payakumbuh community. The research aims to explore how conflict is constructed not only as a dramatic element but also as a form of Minangkabau cultural aesthetics. The study employs a qualitative approach using narrative and film aesthetic analysis. The analysis focuses on character development, the use of local dialects, the structure of customary conflict, and cinematic elements such as art direction, lighting, and traditional music. The findings reveal that the aesthetics of conflict in the film are constructed through linguistic differences, customary disputes, and visual and auditory approaches that strengthen the dramatic quality of the narrative. The conflict in the film also reflects the Minangkabau philosophy, “basilang kayu dalam tungku, mako api ka hiduik” (crossed firewood in the stove keeps the fire alive), which views disagreement as a process leading to consensus. Therefore, conflict in Salisiah Adaik functions not only as a driving force of the narrative but also as a representation of Minangkabau cultural aesthetics.
Ferdinand AlmiSahrul NFajar Indayani

Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) is a lung function indicator that reflects the ability to exhale air to the maximum extent. The combination of the tripod position and balloon-blowing exercise is believed to improve lung ventilation and PEFR values. This study aimed to improve peak expiratory flow rate through a combination of the tripod position and balloon-blowing exercise among PMR members at SMAN 1 Bangsal. This study employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest approach with a sample of 33 PMR members selected using total sampling. Data were collected using standard operating procedures (SOPs) and observation sheets. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon rank-sum test, yielding a p-value of 0.000 with α < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the combination of the tripod position and balloon-blowing exercise on peak expiratory flow among PMR members at SMAN 1 Bangsal. The importance of implementing the combination of the tripod position and balloon-blowing exercise as a nonpharmacological intervention can help improve peak expiratory flow, as both interventions are capable of optimizing pulmonary ventilation, strengthen the respiratory muscles and maximize exhalation capacity.
Enny VirdaRefin Amanda Putri NabilaSyeira Trina ZarinaMuchamad Yafi’ Aditiya Fawwaz

This qualitative case study examines how local wisdom has been integrated into curriculum transformation at SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo, a vocational secondary school in East Java, Indonesia. Using semi-structured interviews (n=25), classroom observations, curriculum document analysis, and field notes, the study investigated mechanisms through which vocational schools pursue culturally responsive education while maintaining alignment with national standards. Five major themes emerged from thematic analysis: (1) local wisdom appears as contextual learning resources embedded within subjects rather than as independent curriculum content; (2) teachers actively interpret national curriculum objectives through professional judgment and contextual knowledge, producing varied curriculum enactment across programs; (3) students associate local wisdom integration with authentic learning experiences through community-based projects and apprenticeships with traditional practitioners, though without reported effects on academic achievement; (4) curriculum transformation occurs through continuous negotiation between national standards, industry competencies, assessment requirements, and cultural preservation rather than through curriculum replacement; and (5) school leadership facilitates curriculum innovation through distributed decision-making and collaborative support rather than directive mandates. The study contributes to curriculum transformation literature by positioning local wisdom as a contextual mediating resource through which national competencies can be developed, rather than as cultural content competing with standardized curricula. Findings suggest that sustainable vocational curriculum transformation in centralized education systems may occur more effectively through facilitated teacher enactment and professional agency than through top-down policy mandates. The research provides empirical evidence from Southeast Asian vocational education, a context underrepresented in international curriculum scholarship. Results may inform curriculum developers, vocational school leaders, teachers, and educational policymakers designing culturally responsive curriculum initiatives within standardized governance structures. Future research employing comparative case studies across different vocational disciplines and regions could strengthen understanding of how schools navigate tensions between standardization and cultural responsiveness.
Sigid BudiantoAhmad Ali DarmawanNanda Hasnan Fardany Anip Dwi Saputro

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1225

The aim of this study is to comprehensively analyze the complex dynamics of coupled oscillator systems utilizing the analytical Lagrangian formalism paired with advanced computational numerical methods in the Python programming environment. To achieve this objective, a quantitative computational research design was rigorously implemented, focusing on the numerical evaluation of theoretical mathematical models. The analytical models were derived using the Euler-Lagrange equations, and the resulting second-order ordinary differential equations were solved numerically utilizing Python's SciPy and NumPy libraries. The simulated physical system consisted of two identical masses connected by a central spring, moving in a one-dimensional frictionless environment. The process of data analysis evaluated the accuracy of the numerical solutions against established theoretical predictions by continuously monitoring total mechanical energy conservation across the temporal domain. As a result, the computational approach demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of precision in predicting the phase space trajectories and the time-evolution of the system, maintaining energy conservation with a numerical error margin of less than 10^-6 Joules over thousands of integration steps. The Python-based simulation effectively visualized the normal modes of the coupled oscillators. This study implies that integrating Python programming with analytical Lagrangian mechanics provides a robust, interactive framework for physics education.
Munzir Absa

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1170

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a psychiatric disorder that frequently presents with somatic complaints, which can lead to delayed diagnosis. This case report aims to describe the clinical manifestations, diagnostic process, and therapeutic response in a patient with GAD dominated by somatic symptoms. Case: A 63-year-old female patient presented with initial complaints of acid reflux sensation and epigastric pain since 2022. Medical examinations showed results within normal limits. The complaints progressed to palpitations, excessive anxiety, particularly in social situations, avoidance behavior, and sleep disturbances. The patient experienced a decline in social functioning, which subsequently improved after receiving pharmacological therapy and psychotherapy. Somatic symptoms in GAD are associated with autonomic nervous system activation and the brain–gut axis interaction. The diagnosis was established based on DSM-5-TR criteria, considering biopsychosocial aspects. Management using a combination of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) proved effective in improving the patient's symptoms and functioning.
Alfiona Syafira Putri ArindaEra Catur Prasetya

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1213

This study investigates the influence of the five components of the Committee of Sponsoring Organisations of the Treadway Commission Enterprise Risk Management (COSO ERM) framework on bank risk performance. It examines the moderating role of Shariah governance in Indonesian Islamic banks. Using a quantitative cross-sectional approach, data were collected from 180 managers and senior officers of full-fledged Islamic commercial banks and analysed through partial least squares structural equation modelling. The findings show that governance and culture, strategy and objective setting, performance, and information, communication and reporting significantly improve bank risk performance. At the same time, review and revision have no direct significant effect. Shariah governance does not moderate relationships among individual ERM components but strengthens the effect of integrated ERM on risk performance. The study highlights that Shariah governance creates greater value when embedded within enterprise-wide risk management systems, providing implications for boards, regulators, and Islamic banking practitioners
Ita Sitasari TuhariMuhammadtahir CheumarHardius Usman

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1175

The Immersive Herbal Medicine Museum as Sukoharjo Cultural Identity is a concept for designing special museum facilities in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, which is designed to accommodate the functions of education, cultural preservation, and recreation based on immersive and multisensory experiences. Sukoharjo Regency is known as the center of the herbal medicine industry in Indonesia, but it does not yet have integrated facilities that represent this identity architecturally. The design method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through the analysis of three main characters: object characters (documentary, educational, interactive, multisensory), character actors (tourists, students, herbal medicine communities), and location characters (strategic, local identity, herbal culture). The synthesis of the three characters results in the basic concept of Immersive Journey of Jamu, which presents a comprehensive journey experience of knowing herbal medicine starting from history, raw materials, processing processes, benefits, to modern innovations. The application of digital technology such as projection mapping, motion sensors, interactive touchscreens, and audiovisual installations is an interactive medium for conveying information. The result is a space program that integrates immersive showrooms, herbal gardens, taste laboratories, herbal medicine workshops, and other supporting facilities in one coherent and representative unit of Sukoharjo's identity as a Jamu City.
Rani Nur AiniFarida Murti

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1198

Social comparison on social media has become an increasingly prominent psychological process during emerging adulthood, driven by growing exposure to idealized portrayals of other people's lives. This study conducted a systematic review of empirical findings on the factors associated with social comparison on social media and its impact on psychological well-being during emerging adulthood. The literature search followed PRISMA guidelines across reputable academic databases, covering publications from 2022 to 2025. Of 165 articles initially identified, 18 empirical studies met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis shows that upward social comparison is the most common form of comparison and is consistently linked to lower psychological well-being, particularly through passive social media use and exposure to idealized content. Frequently identified mediating mechanisms include reduced self-esteem, impaired emotion regulation, and fear of missing out. In contrast, downward social comparison appears far less often and shows only limited protective effects. These findings highlight upward comparison as the dominant psychological risk for well-being in emerging adulthood and point to the need for interventions that strengthen social comparison awareness and emotion regulation.
Alda SyafiraSiti MaimunahIswinarti

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1220

Physician performance is a critical determinant of hospital service quality because it directly influences the effectiveness, professionalism, and quality of patient care. Both individual and work-related factors contribute to physician performance, including psychological factors, career development, and workload arising from clinical practice outside the primary hospital. This study aimed to examine the effects of psychological factors, career level, and external clinical practice workload on physician performance among dual-practice physicians at Mitra Plumbon Hospital, Majalengka, Indonesia. A quantitative study employing descriptive and explanatory approaches was conducted using a structured questionnaire administered to physicians who met the study criteria. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression to evaluate the relationships among the study variables. The results indicated that psychological factors, career level, external clinical practice workload, and physician performance were generally perceived to be at a very high level. Psychological factors, reflected in work motivation, personal satisfaction, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy, had a significant positive effect on physician performance. Career level, represented by opportunities for promotion, professional recognition, and competency development, also demonstrated a significant positive influence on physician performance. In contrast, external clinical practice workload had a significant negative effect on physician performance. Greater involvement in clinical practice outside the hospital increased the likelihood of fatigue, reduced concentration, and limited time available for hospital responsibilities, thereby adversely affecting physician performance. Overall, psychological factors and career level positively influenced physician performance, whereas external clinical practice workload negatively influenced physician performance. These findings suggest that strengthening physicians' psychological well-being, implementing transparent career development systems, and effectively managing external clinical practice workload are essential strategies for improving physician performance and enhancing the quality of hospital services.
Tiara KusumawiyantiMuhardiDede R.
The difficult to degrade polystyrene (PS) waste requires efficient pyrolysis technology to be converted into styrene fuel through a 450°C thermal process. This study designed a batch reactor with a conical cylinder (with a diameter of 30 cm, a height of 30 cm, a diameter of 5.08 cm at the base of the cone, and a height of 15 cm, with a capacity of 3 kg of polystyrene) using Ansys for steady-state thermal-structural analysis to determine the best material based on the highest safety factor. The best material was SS 316, with a heating power of 1404 W, which produced the highest temperature distribution of 564,42 ℃ at the surface near the burner. Meanwhile, the internal surface of the reactor had reached 542,88 ℃, which could degrade the polystyrene pyrolysis temperature at an operating temperature of 450 ℃, with an average temperature of 144,4 ℃. The total heat flux on this material is 0.096078 W/mm² in the area of the connection. The safety factor for the reactor with SS 316 material is 1.44 at the maximum Von Misses stress due to the actual thermal gradient of 200,32 MPa.
Ali SyamsuddinMoh Mufti

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1184

The first five years constitute the "golden years" of an individual's life. This peak period of development requires appropriate stimulation to achieve optimal growth. It is also a time when intelligence, skills, language abilities, and social skills are formed. A child's growth and development are influenced by various factors, including genetics and environmental elements (biological, physical, and psychosocial factors, as well as family dynamics and cultural customs). Parenting styles significantly influence child development, particularly regarding communication. Parenting practices—such as emotional attachment, verbal interaction, and the structuring of the communication environment—play a crucial role in either supporting or hindering a child's speech development. Parenting styles that lack communication or interaction can lead to difficulties in a child's speech skill acquisition. Every child grows in a unique way. Child development encompasses four domains: gross motor skills, fine motor skills, personal-social skills, and language. This study employed a cross-sectional research design with a sample size of 25 participants. The independent variable was parenting style, and the dependent variable was the child's language development. The Spearman’s rho test results yielded a value of p = 0.05 < α = 0.018, indicating a relationship between parenting style and language development in children aged 3–5 years; specifically, children raised under a democratic parenting style demonstrated superior verbal abilities compared to those raised under authoritarian or permissive styles. Consequently, the roles of both mother and father in child-rearing have a significant impact on language development. Mothers, who typically interact more frequently with their children at home, play a key role in providing language stimulation.
Nurhuda AkbarNunuk Nurhayati

This study aims to describe the role of Catholic Religious Education (CRE) teachers in developing students spirit of diakonia, the implementation of diakonia values in learning, and its supporting and inhibiting factors at the elementary and junior high school levels of the Siswarta Foundation, Palangka Raya Representative. The study employed a qualitative descriptive-interpretive approach. Data were collected through non-participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving seven informants consisting of the principal, CRE teachers, and students selected purposively. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, along with triangulation. The results show that the role of CRE teachers is carried out through three channels, namely the integration of learning materials, everyday exemplary conduct, and persuasive guidance. Diakonia values are implemented explicitly in lesson plans and teaching modules using contextual methods, Problem-Based Learning, and experiential learning adjusted to each level, reinforced by routine service activities and post-activity reflection. Supporting factors include school policies, collaboration among teachers, and the personal vocation of educators, whereas the inhibiting factors are limited time, families academic orientation, and gadget dependence. The study concludes that diakonia has become a distinctive feature of Catholic schools, yet the consistency of teacher exemplarity and the equal distribution of reflection still need to be strengthened
Ery YurentiPaulina Maria Ekasari WahyuningrumEdy Jumrio

https://jsret.knpub.com/index.php/jrest/article/view/1230

The development of digital media has brought significant changes to the lives of students. However, the increasing intensity of social media use has not been matched by maturity in media literacy or ethical awareness in digital communication. This situation places teachers of Catholic Religious Education (CRE) in a strategic position to guide students toward using digital media critically, responsibly, and in accordance with the Christian value of love (caritas). This study aims to analyze the role of CRE teachers in shaping students’ digital conscience through the Shared Christian Praxis (SCP) approach. The research employs a qualitative method with a single case study design conducted at SMAN 4 Palangka Raya. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with one CRE teacher and seven students, observations of the learning process, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings show that CRE teachers act as learning facilitators, pastoral guides, and developers of digital character by implementing the five stages of SCP: naming, critical reflection, story and vision, dialectical hermeneutics, and decision-making. This guidance encourages students to develop critical thinking skills while also forming a digital conscience, manifested through wise attitudes in using social media, respect for the dignity of others, and avoidance of spreading hate speech and unverified information. The novelty of this research lies in the development of Caritas-Based Media Literacy, a media literacy model that integrates critical thinking, faith reflection, and the value of love as an ethical foundation for digital communication in diverse school environments.
Brigita NataliaFransiskus Janu HamuAndreas Jimmy
